Welcome to the Interpack Machinery Career Opportunities page.

We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Electrical/Electronic Engineer.

Interpack Machinery & Services Ltd typically solves challenges within the packaging sector whilst also retaining the ability to manufacture completely bespoke machinery where needed. This role provides the opportunity to learn and grow, through coaching and mentoring, in a close-knit team of engineers working in an agile company environment.

Under the remit of the Operations Manager, the candidate will also contribute to wider Systems Integration support within the company on secure programmes. A full "Right to work" and enhanced DBS check will be carried out as standard. This role therefore requires a British citizen able to attain the appropriate clearances.

Responsibilities:

Support the design of digital and analogue electronics subassemblies using a range of embedded and communication system technologies.

Work with subject matter experts on migrating early concepts into prototype designs towards established baselines ahead of design reviews

Work closely with internal stakeholders to further develop prototypes through production engineering ahead of manufacture

Document designs according to established quality management systems, including all levels of functional and detailed design and appropriate test specifications

Support and lead the testing and commissioning of equipment and systems both in-house and on-site, and testing for activities such as EMC compliance testing, to the relevant standards

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering

Experience in plc programming and robotics

Excellent analytical and numerical skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently against a project plan, but also able to work as part of a wider team with a diverse range of stakeholders

Ability to think creatively to overcome challenges, with an aptitude for continuous improvement

Articulate, verbally and in writing, including competency with standard Microsoft-based IT tools
